Over the past few years we have been very pleased to work with Accucraft UK and Trackshack IOM in bringing to market a number of products for the 'garden scale' model railway enthusiast, and to undertake and supply single and limited edition model builds, conversions and livery changes for customers.

IMR 'L' Bolster Wagon

The original design of Isle of Man Railway bolster wagon, stock numbers L.1 to L.4 (1874).  Used in pairs for carrying long loads, or as a single match truck for jib crane.

IMR 'E' Luggage Brake Van

The original design of Isle of Man Railway four-wheeled brake vans with lookout duckets, stock numbers E.1 & E.2 (1873), E.3 & E.4 (1874), E.5 & E.6 (1876), New E.1 (1894) and E.7 (1895).

'Ready-to-Run' model produced by Accucraft Trains in several liveries but without stock numbers. Please note a number of detail fittings shown on accompanying scale drawing are omitted from model - see actual model photographs.  Also note larger Accucraft W&LLR-style couplings are fitted on model, not IMR finescale couplings shown on scale drawing.

IMR 'G' Covered Goods Van

The original design of Isle of Man Railway covered goods van, stock numbers G.1 to G.4 (1873), G.5 & G.6 (1877), G.7 (1897), G.8 & G.9 (1899).

'Ready-to-Run' model produced by Accucraft Trains; un-vented and side porthole vented versions; various stock numbers and a load data only version. Also note larger Accucraft W&LLR-style couplings are fitted on this model, not IMR finescale couplings shown on drawing.

IMR 'M' 2-plank Ballast Wagon

The original design of Isle of Man Railway 2-plank drop-side ballast wagon, stock numbers M.1 to M.4 (1877), M.5 to M.7 (1881), M.8 to M.19 (1888), M.20 to M.27 (1899) and M.43 to M.45 (1906).

'Ready-to-Run' only model produced by Accucraft Trains exclusively for Trackshack IOM; various stock numbers and a load data only version; also a Limited Edition 'Mona Chemical Company' private owner wagon.

IMR 2-plank Fish Wagon

A series of five 2-plank open wagons for the carriage of fish built in-house by the Isle of Man Railway between 1909 and 1914 using redundant chassis of original 4-wheel stock.

The original design of Isle of Man Railway open-roof cattle wagon, stock numbers K.1 & K.2 (1873), K.3 & K.4 (1877), K.5 & K.6 (1899) and K.10 to K.12 (1908).

IMR Carriage Series

IMR 'Big F' Half Luggage Brake Third Carriage

First introduced with the Saloon carriages in 1905, these are the later variant Isle of Man Railway bogie carriages F.40 to F.44 (1907/8) and F.49 (1926).  Initial design stage complete.

IMR 'Big F' Guard Brake Third Carriage

Isle of Man Railway bogie carriages F.45 & F.46 (1913) with five passenger compartments and a small luggage / guard compartment.  Initial design stage complete.

IMR 'Big F' All Third Carriage

Isle of Man Railway bogie carriages F.47 & F.48 (1923) with six passenger compartments.  Initial design stage complete.

Our scale model kits and built-up / ready-to-run models are intended only for adult model makers and adult model collectors.  They are NOT suitable for children because of small parts which can present a choking hazard.  In addition, some of the components have functional sharp edges or points and should be handled with care.
